Job Description

Job Summary Assisting a single adult male client who is requiring 24-hour in-home care at all times. The client has specific caregiver compatibility requirements related to personal care. Duties Administer medications and treatments accurately following physician orders while maintaining detailed medical documentation. Monitor vital signs, assess patient conditions, and report changes promptly to the care team. Assist with activities of daily living to include but not limited to bathing, toileting, grooming, oral care, dressing, and personal hygiene. Assist with mobility tasks to include but not limited to bed mobility, transfers, functional mobility, and community mobility. Maintain infection control protocols using aseptic techniques during procedures like wound management. Assisting with daily tasks to include but not limited to light household duties, meal preparation, linen changes, laundry, outdoor activities, and transportation to doctor's appointments. Skills Knowledge of medical terminology, medication administration protocols, and vital signs monitoring to ensure safe patient care. Excellent caregiving skills with a focus on geriatrics, post-acute care, and home & community-based services.
