Overview Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA/CNA), where your compassionate care and clinical skills will make a meaningful difference in patients' lives. In this vital role, you will provide direct patient care, assist with daily activities, and support the healthcare team in delivering high-quality, personalized services. Responsibilities Deliver hands-on patient care including bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility assistance using safe lifting practices and equipment such as Hoyer lifts. Monitor and record vital signs, observe patient conditions, and report changes promptly to nursing staff. Assist with medical procedures such as catheter care, medication administration under supervision, and phlebotomy when trained. Maintain accurate medical documentation within Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality. Support patients with activities of daily living in settings like long-term care facilities, assisted living communities, hospitals, or home care environments. Apply aseptic techniques during wound care or infection control procedures to prevent the spread of infectious diseases. Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams including nurses, therapists, and physicians to coordinate comprehensive patient care plans. Qualifications Valid certification as a Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), with current state licensure. Demonstrated experience working with diverse populations such as geriatric patients, individuals with developmental disabilities, or those requiring specialized dementia or Alzheimer's care. Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems like Epic, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks for accurate medical documentation. Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and basic life support (BLS/CPR). Prior experience in settings such as long-term care facilities, hospitals—including ICU or trauma centers—hospice environments, or home health is highly desirable. Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely while adhering to safe lifting practices and heavy lifting protocols. Strong caregiver communication skills coupled with a compassionate approach to patient service and family engagement. $25.84 - $32.00 per hour
