Job Description

Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team at Cascade Valley Hospital in Arlington WA. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care in various settings, including hospitals, teaching hospitals, and critical care environments. As a Nursing Assistant, you will assist patients with daily activities, ensuring their comfort and well-being while adhering to the highest standards of care. Duties Provide personal care to patients, including bathing, grooming, and dressing. Assist with mobility and transportation of patients within the facility. Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to nursing staff. Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients by following aseptic techniques. Support patients with dementia care and those with disabilities, ensuring their needs are met compassionately. Assist in the management of durable medical equipment (DME) as required. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to implement patient care plans effectively. Educate patients and families on health management and care procedures. Participate in infection control measures, particularly in cases involving infectious disease care. Experience Candidates should possess the following skills and experience: A minimum of Two years of work experience in a hospital setting . (Has to be within the last 5 years) Knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to patient care. Experience working in hospital settings, particularly in medical and surgical CCU units. Familiarity with aseptic techniques and infection control practices. Previous experience in dementia care or working with individuals with disabilities is highly desirable. Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team while maintaining a patient-centered approach.
