Support medication administration under supervision in compliance with HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards. Provide specialized care for patients with conditions such as dementia, Alzheimer's disease, or other memory-related issues. Maintain patient confidentiality and ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and safety protocols. Assist with patient transfers using approved transfer methods and ensure safe handling practices. Support infection control procedures by practicing aseptic techniques and maintaining a sterile environment. Document patient care activities thoroughly in electronic health records (EHR) systems such as Epic or Cerner. Collaborate effectively with nursing staff, physicians, therapists, and family members to deliver comprehensive care. Participate in ongoing training related to emergency medicine, ICU protocols, hospice care, or other specialized areas as needed.
