Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver (Non-Certified/HCA/CNA) to provide high-quality personal care and support to individuals in various care settings. This role involves assisting with daily activities, ensuring safety, and fostering a respectful, supportive environment for those in need of assistance. Duties Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Support residents with mobility and transfer activities using safe patient lifting practices and equipment such as Hoyer lifts. Monitor and record vital signs accurately, including blood pressure, pulse, and temperature. Administer medication as directed by healthcare professionals while adhering to safety protocols. Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being and reduce feelings of isolation. Assist with meal preparation and feeding, ensuring nutritional needs are met in accordance with dietary guidelines. Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning and sanitation of resident areas. Follow resident's rights policies and ensure respectful treatment at all times. Skills Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or residential care homes is highly desirable. Knowledge of Alzheimer's care, dementia care, memory care, and behavioral management techniques. Familiarity with long-term care practices, home & community care environments, and senior care standards. Ability to work effectively with individuals with developmental disabilities or cognitive impairments. Proficiency in vital signs measurement, medication administration, and basic first aid/CPR certification. Experience operating standard passenger cars for client transportation or errands is a plus. Strong communication skills for engaging with clients, families, and healthcare teams effectively. Physical ability to perform heavy lifting tasks safely and assist residents with mobility challenges.
