The Impact You'll Make As a Caregiver in our Adult Family Home, you will be the heart of daily life for our residents. Your care, patience, and attention will directly shape their comfort, health, and happiness. From assisting with personal needs to sharing a laugh over morning coffee, you'll be making a meaningful difference every single day—helping residents feel valued, respected, and truly at home. What You'll Do Provide hands-on assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support. Prepare and serve nutritious meals tailored to residents' dietary needs and preferences. Administer medications according to care plans and maintain accurate documentation. Support residents with light housekeeping, laundry, and maintaining a clean, safe environment. Engage residents in meaningful activities—such as games, music, crafts, or walks—to promote social connection and mental well-being. Monitor and report changes in residents' health, mood, or behavior to the home administrator or nurse. Communicate warmly and professionally with residents' families, healthcare providers, and other team members. Uphold residents' rights to privacy, dignity, and choice at all times. What You'll Bring Experience in caregiving, preferably in an adult family home, assisted living, or similar setting. Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain). Food Handler's Permit and Nurse Delegation certification (preferred or willingness to obtain). Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate, patient nature. Ability to work independently and as part of a small, close-knit team. Physical ability to assist residents with mobility and personal care needs. A genuine passion for improving the lives of older adults and individuals with disabilities.
