Job Summary The Certified Nursing Assistant CNA/HCA provides compassionate, hands-on care and assistance to residents with their daily living needs in accordance with each resident's care plan. The CNA helps ensure the safety, comfort, and well-being of all residents while promoting their independence and dignity. Key Responsibilities Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, and mobility. Take and record vital signs, weight, and other health indicators as directed. Observe and report changes in residents' physical or emotional condition to nursing staff. Provide assistance with transfers, ambulation, and use of assistive devices (wheelchairs, walkers, etc.). Help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents. Support residents in social and recreational activities to enhance quality of life. Respond promptly to resident call lights and requests for assistance. Maintain resident confidentiality and uphold professional and ethical standards. Follow infection control and safety policies at all times. Participate in ongoing training and team meetings as required.
