Resident Driver -

CNA:

$22-23/hr Join the tenured team at the historic Christopher House! Our Christopher House community serves people with challenges related to mental health. We are hiring a Resident Driver to maintain a weekly resident appointment calendar and accompany residents to medical and personal appointments. The ideal candidate has a positive outlook, patient demeanor, and certification as a CNA. The Resident Driver will be interacting with a wide variety of residents, providing support at appointments and communicating vital medical information between the facility and outside medical professionals. This is a full-time position, Monday - Friday, 8:00am-4:00 pm. Successful candidates will hold current CNA certification .

Minimum Qualifications:

Must demonstrate competency in the following areas: Current CNA certification in the state of Washington. Pass a state criminal background check. Must have a current Driver's License. Must have a clean driving record. Read, write, speak and understand the English language. Freedom from illegal use of drugs. Freedom from use and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace. Persons who have been found guilty by a court of law of abusing, neglecting, or mistreating individuals in a health care-related setting are ineligible for employment in the position. Demonstrates effective time management skills Must be 25 years of age. Able to communicate ideas well. Able to question and listen to residents and coworkers for the purpose of gaining understanding. Able to represent and promote activities and programs as a member of our team. Able to organize and manage both information and time effectively. Sufficient literary skills to read care plans and other procedures and to complete required reports. CPR and First Aid certification or successfully achieved within 30 days of employment.
