Elkhorn, WI Job Type:
Per Diem, Contract, Temp-to-Hire, Direct Hire, Block Scheduling Caring for others is personal. Your schedule should be too. At Interim HealthCare Staffing, we help Resident Assistants and caregivers find flexible opportunities inside local assisted living facilities, memory care units, skilled nursing facilities, hospitals, and rehab centers. What You'll Do:
Assist residents and patients with daily personal care needs including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility Support patients with feeding and nutritional intake Perform light tasks related to ambulation, repositioning, and safety Take vitals, monitor basic health indicators, and report changes in condition Work as part of a care team that may include RNs, LPNs, physicians, and other aides Observe patients and notify appropriate staff of any care or behavioral concerns
What You Need:
High school diploma or equivalent CPR certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross) Required compliance training to work in long-term care and assisted living (can be provided by Interim) Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and support patients safely Good communication skills and a dependable, compassionate nature
