Current BLS Required for Night Shift Position Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide high-quality care and support to residents in a skilled nursing facility. The CNA will assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), promote their safety, comfort, and well-being, and work closely with nurses and other members of the healthcare team. The successful candidate will follow facility policies, procedures, and established standards of care while treating residents with dignity and respect. Essential Job Duties Answer resident call lights promptly and respond to resident needs in a timely manner. Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) , including: Toileting Transferring Bathing Grooming Personal hygiene and related care Observe residents and promptly report any changes in condition to the charge nurse or appropriate nursing staff. Obtain and accurately document vital signs, weights, and other required resident information. Provide compassionate assistance while maintaining resident dignity, privacy, and safety. Respond to resident needs promptly and appropriately. Report any allegations or suspected incidents of abuse, neglect, or misappropriation to the charge nurse in accordance with facility policy. Follow all facility policies, procedures, safety guidelines, and infection-control practices. Perform other duties as assigned by nursing leadership. Required Qualifications Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required. Must hold and maintain an active CNA certification. Current BLS certification required for Night Shift. 1+ year of related healthcare experience preferred. Strong attention to detail and exceptional accuracy. Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, nurses, and other healthcare team members. Ability to provide compassionate, respectful, and dependable resident care. Ability to work effectively in a skilled nursing facility environment.
