How You'll Contribute:
Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, feeding, ambulation, transfers, positioning, and mobility support. Obtain and document vital signs, intake and output, daily weights, and other patient information accurately in the EMR. Perform purposeful rounding and promptly communicate patient needs, concerns, and changes in condition to the RN. Support admissions, transfers, and discharges while maintaining a safe, organized, and patient-ready environment. Collect specimens, perform point-of-care testing, and maintain equipment, supplies, and unit stock as needed. Promote patient safety, skin integrity, infection prevention, and proper use of assistive devices and specialty equipment. Provide age-appropriate, compassionate care while assisting with patient transport, nutrition support, and other delegated clinical duties under RN supervision.
What We Are Looking For:
Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) needs to be obtained within 45 days, and Nurse Aide in good standing as indicated with the State Registry in which the team member practices. Certificate of General Educational Development (GED) or High School Equivalency Diploma (HSED), or High School Graduate.
