We serve adults with developmental disabilities who need enhanced behavioral supports. Small census, high standards, and a real chance to build something from the ground up. The role Top priorities for this hire: 1) Respond to SDRC placement referrals fast (same-day), set up tours for prospective clients, and be the boots on the ground. 2) Hire and onboard DSP staff in Gusto, build the schedules, keep every shift covered and reliable, and coordinate staffing around adult day program timing. 3) Own all general administration and house compliance. This is a hands-on, working Administrator position. You will be on-site running the home day to day — not holding a license from a distance. You own staffing, admissions, compliance, and SDRC relationships, and you are the person accountable when something needs to get done. Responsibilities
  • Overall management and daily operation of the facility, on-site enough hours to actually run it (per Title 22 section 85064)
  • Admissions:
pre-placement appraisals (LIC 603), assessments, and individual service plans (ISPs)
  • Recruit, hire, train, schedule, supervise — and if needed, terminate — direct-support staff
  • Make sure every service in each client's needs and services plan is actually delivered
  • Medication management oversight; timely Special Incident Reports (SIRs)
  • SDRC coordination: service coordinators, vendors, families, ID teams
  • CCL compliance: licensing visits, plans of correction, record-keeping
  • Staff training documentation, emergency intervention planning
  • Budget accountability for program, food, transportation, and household operations
  • Community outreach to referral sources to build census Requirements (must-haves)
  • Active California ARF Administrator certificate in good standing — will be verified with CDSS
  • 21+ years of age; high school diploma or GED
  • Minimum 2 years providing direct care or supervision to individuals with developmental disabilities
  • DOJ/FBI fingerprint clearance (CCL requirement)
  • Valid CA driver's license and reliable transportation
  • CPR/First Aid certified (or obtained within 30 days of hire)
  • Available on-site in Spring Valley; on-call for emergencies Strongly preferred
  • Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), Licensed Psychiatric Technician, or Qualified Behavior Modification Professional (QBMP)
  • Experience in a Level 5/6 or enhanced behavioral supports home
  • Existing relationships with SDRC service coordinators
  • Emergency intervention training (Pro-ACT, CPI, or equivalent) Pay and benefits
  • $26.50
  • 36.00/hour, W-2 full-time, based on experience and credentials
  • Hourly to start until the house is filled; converting to salary as census grows.
  • PTO and benefits — details discussed at interview
