Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Group Home Manager to oversee the daily operations of our residential care facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing care teams, ensuring high-quality support for individuals with developmental disabilities, and maintaining compliance with all regulatory standards. This role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and a compassionate approach to providing personalized care in a residential group home setting. Responsibilities Lead and manage group home team, including scheduling, supervision, and performance evaluations. Oversee the delivery of services to individuals with developmental disabilities, ensuring their needs are met with dignity and respect. Manage daily operations of the residential group home, including maintaining a safe and supportive environment. Develop, implement, and monitor care plans tailored to each individual's needs. Handle financial management tasks such as budgeting, billing, and resource allocation. Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with licensing requirements and organizational policies. Utilize Microsoft Office tools for reporting, communication, and record-keeping purposes. Apply experience with personal care or CNA work to support staff training and quality assurance initiatives. Manage scheduling to ensure adequate staffing coverage and ratios at all times. Implement progressive discipline procedures when necessary to uphold standards of conduct and performance. Skills Proven experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities in a residential or care facility setting. Strong leadership abilities with experience managing teams in a care environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction with staff, residents, families, and external agencies. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for documentation and reporting purposes. Experience with Therap for electronic case management is a plus Sound financial management skills including budgeting, resource allocation, and completing redeterminations for individuals benefits. Experience with scheduling software or systems to coordinate staff shifts efficiently. Knowledge of DDS, social security, and regulations and compliance standards. Background in personal care or CNA work is highly desirable to better understand resident needs and support staff training. Ability to handle progressive discipline processes professionally while fostering a positive team environment.

Requirements:

1-2 years experience with managing group home or nursing facility. Bachelors degree and/or applicable group home management experience required Ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and valid drivers license with clean driving record. Will require own vehicle for completing job responsibilities as needed. Will require certification in DDS Medication Administration, CPR/ First Aid certification, and PMT certification. Ability to complete physical requirements of the job as stated in job description. Please Note:

: Hours are Mon-Fri 9a-5p (with flexibility to the needs of the individuals.) This position will require on-call responsibilities. Managers are on-call Mon-Fri for own house and part of an on-call rotation for the weekends. Pay rate is $26.11 per hour Full Time with Full Benefits.
