Assisted Living & Memory Care Community Are you a compassionate leader with a passion for serving seniors and supporting caregivers? We are seeking an experienced Care Director to lead our Assisted Living and Memory Care teams in delivering exceptional resident-centered care. Position Summary The Care Director is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of resident care services, ensuring regulatory compliance, supervising care staff, coordinating staffing schedules, and developing ongoing training programs that promote excellence in care delivery. Key Responsibilities Lead, supervise, and mentor resident care staff in Assisted Living and Memory Care. Develop and manage staffing schedules to ensure adequate coverage and efficient operations. Conduct new employee orientation and ongoing in-service training to maintain competency and regulatory compliance. Monitor resident care plans and collaborate with families, healthcare providers, and interdisciplinary teams. Ensure compliance with state regulations, company policies, and quality standards. Participate in hiring, coaching, performance evaluations, and staff development initiatives. Foster a positive, team-oriented culture focused on dignity, respect, and person-centered care. Qualifications Previous leadership experience in Assisted Living, Memory Care, Long-Term Care, or a related healthcare setting. Strong experience with staff scheduling, workforce management, and staffing coordination. Proven ability to develop and conduct in-service education and training programs. Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills. Knowledge of dementia care best practices and applicable regulatory requirements.
