SUMMARY:
The Home Manager plans and supervises the daily activities for both the staff and the residents and ensures all prescribed protocols are followed. Is responsible for staff training.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Responsible for supervising the residents assigned to your home Creates a system to ensure the person-centered plan for each resident is followed per the doctor's orders Train staff on appropriate procedures for caring for residents Communicates company standards to staff and is responsible for ensuring staff follows protocols Verifies client funds for accuracy, monitors client purchases, and is accountable for receipts, balancing the safe and products purchased with client funds Conducts staff meetings Responsible for making a schedule for the home and making sure there is appropriate coverage at all times per MQCSI guidelines Communicates with doctors and other professionals for med reviews, prescription refills, etc. Meets with CMH and guardians to plan resident's personal objectives and goals Ensures the prescribed diets assigned by dieticians is followed Responsible for ensuring all shopping needs are met for both the home and the residents in the home Foster work environments that attract, motivate, and retain hard-working individuals Maintain confidentiality of clients, other staff, and the business of MQCSI Use interpersonal skills and creativity to effectively handle personnel problems and create a positive work environment for your staff Additional duties as needed What We're Looking For Valid driver's license required Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills Dependable and able to work flexible hours, including some weekends and on-call shifts Comfortable taking initiative and providing leadership Ability to work as part of a team and handle challenging situations professionally Commitment to providing high-quality, person-centered care Must successfully complete required physical and Communicable Disease Screening Must successfully pass an FBI fingerprint background check Must complete required CPR, First Aid, Recipient Rights, and Universal Precautions training within 30 days of hire Why Work for McBride Quality Care Services?
