Job Description

The Assisted Living Director/LALD is a vital leadership role responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a 20 unit assisted living facility with memory care. The director will assist in developing services and/or programs to meet the needs of the resident community and oversight of the building and its programs. The director will manage staff, develop programs, and foster a supportive environment for both residents and their families. We are looking for an energetic, detailed director eager to promote a fun work environment and exceptional care for our residents. QUALIFICATIONS- Licensed as an Assisted Living Director with BELTSS and must maintain a current and unrestricted licensure. At least 2 years' experience in related position. Knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations and statutes that pertain to assisted living and landlord resident law. Leadership skills, team building skills, the ability to create a customer focused culture, customer service expertise, problem solving and effective communication skills. MN Driver's license RESPONSIBILITIES- Monitor and enact systems, programs and services that address needs of a diverse resident population as well as the goals of Cherrywood. Maintain compliance with Assisted Living with Dementia care licensing requirements. Lead your employees in such a way that achieves organizational objectives and creates a supportive work environment. Achieve the financial objectives of the property and Cherrywood. Ensure effective organizational performance that achieves financial goals. Maintain optimal occupancy of the property Ensure the proper, high quality physical maintenance of the property. Implement and assess policies, procedures, practices and standards of the assisted living facility Support and work cooperatively with organized resident groups Share our household model by promoting our services in the community through community involvement and marketing.
