This role is ideal for someone who is independent, highly organized, calm under pressure, and experienced in residential services. The Manager is responsible for keeping the home compliant, supporting staff, coordinating resident care, and maintaining a safe, stable, person-centered environment. Day-to-Day Responsibilities Oversee daily operations of the group home Supervise, train, schedule, and support direct care staff Ensure compliance with Minnesota 245D licensing requirements Coordinate resident appointments, services, and support plans Monitor health, safety, medication practices, and incident reporting Communicate with guardians, case managers, providers, and internal staff Maintain documentation, audits, and required reports Help create a stable, respectful, and supportive home environment Qualifications Meets Minnesota 245D requirements for a Designated Coordinator / Program Coordinator At least 2 years of experience supporting individuals with disabilities or in residential human services Knowledge of HCBS, person-centered planning, and positive support strategies Strong judgment, organization, and problem-solving ability Experience leading teams in a residential or caregiving setting preferred Knowledge of person-centered services, resident rights, and positive support practices Valid driver's license and ability to pass DHS background study CPR, First Aid, and medication administration certification Schedule Full-time Primarily on-site Flexible hours based on program needs Some evenings and weekends required On-call availability required Must be able to respond to urgent situations at the home
