Duty and Holiday Rotation Salary:
$50,000-$65,000 annually Under the direction of the Executive Director, our EDIT assists with leading and directing the overall operations of the facility in accordance with customer needs, government regulations, and company policy and procedure, with the focus of maintaining excellent care for the residents/tenants while achieving the facility's business objectives.
Duties Include:
Assume designated responsibilities in the absence of the Executive Director. Assist in leading the facility management staff and consultants in developing and working from a business plan that focuses on all aspects of facility operations, including setting priorities and job assignments. Assist with monitoring each department's activities, communicates policies, evaluates performance, provides feedback, assists and observes coaches and disciplines as needed. Assist with overseeing and conducting regular rounds to monitor delivery of nursing care, operation of support departments, cleanliness and appearance of the facility, morale of the staff, and ensure resident and tenant needs are being addressed. Assist with utilizing survey information to address areas of importance as defined by customers. Assist with ensuring consultants and other support resources are appropriately utilized, all staff is appropriately trained, and a high level of interdepartmental teamwork is maintained. Assist with ensuring the building and grounds are appropriately maintained and that equipment and work areas are clean, safe and orderly, and any hazardous conditions are timely addressed. Assist in monitoring Human Resources to ensure compliance with employment laws, company policies, and to ensure practices maintain high morale and staff retention, including effective communication, prompt problem resolution, and a proactive work environment. Develop positive relationships on behalf of the company with government regulators, residents, tenants, families, area healthcare providers, physicians and the community. Assist with managing facility budgets and business practices to include labor costs, payables, and receivables. Assist in ensuring a marketing strategy for the facility is developed and implemented that reflects service opportunities, completion, potential market area changes, and maximizes census, payer mix, and ancillary revenues.
Qualifications:
Licensed Assisted Living Director (LALD) Required within the state of operation (MN), Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) Preferred, or must be obtained within the first 6 months in role. Bachelor's degree in Health Administration, Gerontology, Business, or related field. Experience in marketing, sales, and/or advertising. Experience in long-term care or acute care.
