Unity Haven Family Care Home is preparing to open a small 2-6 bed licensed Family Care Home in Spring Lake, North Carolina. We are seeking an experienced and currently North Carolina-approved Family Care Home Administrator to serve as the facility administrator and assist with opening and ongoing operations. The administrator will work with the owner during the startup/licensing process and, once operational, provide the administrative oversight required for a licensed Family Care Home.

Responsibilities include:

Serve as the designated administrator for the Family Care Home. Assist with preparation for initial

DSS/DHSR

licensing and inspections. Review required policies, resident records, personnel records, and operational documentation. Help ensure compliance with NC Family Care Home regulations. Coordinate with the owner, staff, Harnett County DSS, and DHSR as necessary. Assist with staff orientation/training and regulatory readiness. Provide ongoing administrative oversight after residents are admitted.

Required:

Current NC Family Care Home Administrator Approval OR NC Assisted Living Administrator Certification . Administrator approval/certificate must be active and verifiable. Knowledge of NC DHSR Adult Care Licensure requirements. Experience with Family Care Homes or Adult Care Homes preferred. Must be able to provide appropriate on-site oversight in Spring Lake.

Schedule:

Part-time/flexible; schedule and hours to be discussed based on licensing and operational needs.

Compensation:

$25-$35/hour , negotiable based on experience and responsibilities.
