Job Description

Group Home Manager Position . We are looking for a compassionate, reliable, and self-motivated Direct Support Professional to join our residential group home team. This well-run, stable home supports five adult women with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Duties :
Provide direct support that promotes skill-building, safety, daily living, socialization, and leisure activities. Transport residents to work, activities, and appointments using agency vehicles. Maintain a clean and safe home environment. Follow licensing and operational standards, including fire inspections, sanitation, and safety requirements. Protect resident confidentiality while supporting each woman with compassion, dignity, and respect for their rights. Complete assigned staff development and training to maintain required certifications including First Aid, CPR and Medication Administration.
Hours :
Employees work 40 regularly scheduled hours over three consecutive days, including overnight shifts with seven hours of paid sleep. Breaks are provided during the day. Schedules may change based on resident and staffing needs.
Pay and Benefits:
The regular 40-hour wage for this Federal Wage and Hour position starts at $16.50 per hour. The overnight sleep hours provide additional pay, bringing annual earnings to approximately $40,000.00 or more, depending on actual hours worked. Accrued Vacation and Sick leave

High School Diploma or Equivalent . Valid NC Driver's License and vehicle insurance. Ability to pass a criminal background check and motor vehicle record check. Experience supporting people with developmental disabilities. Reliable transportation and the ability to commute within a reasonable distance.
