Job Summary Life Care Center of Omaha is seeking a highly qualified and dynamic Executive Director - Licensed Nursing Home Administrator to lead our long-term care facility. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in nursing home administration, with a strong focus on resident-centered care, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence. As the Executive Director, you will oversee all aspects of facility management, ensuring high-quality care delivery, staff supervision, financial stewardship, and adherence to healthcare regulations. Your leadership will foster a compassionate environment that promotes dignity, safety, and well-being for all residents. Duties Provide strategic leadership to ensure the delivery of comprehensive nursing home services aligned with state and federal regulations. Oversee daily operations including staffing, care plans, medication administration, and resident services to maintain high standards of quality and safety. Supervise and manage care facility teams, including nursing staff, administrative personnel, and support staff, fostering a collaborative and motivated work environment. Ensure compliance with long-term care regulations, health policies, and accreditation standards while maintaining accurate documentation and reporting. Develop and monitor budgets, financial management strategies, and resource allocation to promote fiscal responsibility and sustainability. Implement resident rights policies to uphold dignity, autonomy, and personalized care for each individual. Coordinate with healthcare providers, community agencies, and families to enhance resident care programs such as Alzheimer's care, dementia care, memory care, and assisted living services. Utilize Microsoft Office tools for documentation, reporting, scheduling, and communication purposes. Promote continuous quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing resident satisfaction and operational efficiency. Experience Proven leadership experience in nursing home or senior living facility administration with a focus on long-term care management. Extensive knowledge of long-term care regulations, healthcare policies, and compliance standards governing nursing homes. Demonstrated expertise in managing multidisciplinary teams within residential or assisted living environments. Strong background in financial management including budgeting, financial analysis, and healthcare financial operations. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or those requiring specialized dementia or Alzheimer's care is highly desirable. Familiarity with home & community care services as well as disability services experience is advantageous. Proficiency in managing care facility operations using Microsoft Office applications for documentation and communication purposes. Previous supervisory roles involving nursing leadership or executive experience within a licensed nursing home setting are essential.
