Nursing Home Administrator in Training Gateway Healthcare Nebraska | Ensign Services Build your career. Lead a team. Run a healthcare operation. Gateway Healthcare Nebraska is looking for our next generation of healthcare leaders through our Administrator in Training (AIT) Program. This isn't a classroom-based management program. You'll work inside a skilled nursing operation, learning directly from experienced healthcare leaders while gaining hands-on experience in operations, clinical leadership, finance, human resources, regulatory compliance, culture, and business development. The goal? Prepare you to become a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) and ultimately lead your own skilled nursing operation. Program Details Full-Time | Paid, Multi-Month Leadership Training AIT participants complete their training in Omaha or Beatrice, Nebraska . Following successful completion of the program and licensure, flexibility to relocate for the right Administrator opportunity is required. Placement opportunities may be available throughout Nebraska based on organizational needs and openings at the time of program completion. What Does an AIT Actually Do? You'll train alongside an experienced Nursing Home Administrator and leadership team while learning how to operate a skilled nursing facility from the inside out.

Facility operations and strategic decision-making Leadership, culture, and employee engagement Recruiting, staffing, and human resources Clinical operations and quality outcomes State and federal healthcare regulations CMS surveys and regulatory compliance Budgeting, labor management, and financial performance Census development and business operations Risk management Resident and family experience Interdisciplinary leadership Problem-solving in a fast-paced healthcare environment You'll learn not only how a successful healthcare operation runs, but how great leaders build teams that make it happen. After successfully completing training, meeting licensure requirements, and obtaining your Nursing Home Administrator license, you'll be prepared to pursue Administrator opportunities within our organization. Qualifications Bachelor's degree required Must meet Nebraska requirements for Nursing Home Administrator licensure eligibility Must be willing to complete AIT training in Omaha or Beatrice, NE Flexibility to relocate following completion of the program is strongly preferred Compensation & Benefits AIT participants receive a competitive base salary during training along with a comprehensive benefits package.
