Job Description

Overview We are looking to hire an experienced Group Home Administrator to lead operations at our licensed residential healthcare facility in New Jersey. This hands-on leadership role oversees daily facility management with a focus on staff supervision, resident services, financial tasks, and strict regulatory compliance. Responsibilities Ensure full compliance with all New Jersey state regulations for residential healthcare facilities (Department of Community Affairs and related licensing bodies). Prepare for inspections, maintain required documentation, and uphold all safety and operational standards. Manage and supervise staff responsible for cleaning/housekeeping, cooking/meal preparation , and medication distribution . Collect monthly rents from residents and maintain accurate financial records. Plan nutritious menus, place food orders, manage inventory, and ensure dietary needs are met. Foster strong relationships with residents' families and other day programs that residents may attend.

Qualifications Requirements Minimum 2-3+ years of experience as an Administrator or Manager in a residential healthcare facility , assisted living, boarding home, or similar licensed care setting in New Jersey. Knowledge of New Jersey residential healthcare regulations, staffing requirements, medication management, and food service standards. Strong leadership skills with experience managing housekeeping, dietary, and medication aide staff. Excellent organizational and communication abilities. Experience with rent collection, inventory management, and basic administrative/financial duties. Relevant certifications or licenses (e.g., NJ Residential Healthcare Administrator certification or equivalent) preferred.
Pay:
$40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
