Candidates must be currently licensed as a Nursing Home Administrator in New York State OR actively pursuing Nursing Home Administrator licensure and must become fully licensed within two years of hire or within six months of becoming license-eligible, whichever is shorter.

Position Summary

Finger Lakes Health is seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (Assistant LNHA) to support operations at Living Center North and Living Center South in Geneva, NY.

This position works closely with the Vice President of Long-Term Care and the LTC leadership team to support regulatory compliance, performance improvement, quality initiatives, and daily long-term care operations.

We are seeking a healthcare leader who can bring both clinical knowledge and administrative leadership to the role. An RN with long-term care experience and an interest in nursing home administration would be an excellent fit for this opportunity.

Key Responsibilities Assist the Vice President of Long-Term Care with daily LTC operations. Support regulatory compliance and adherence to applicable NYSDOH requirements. Assist with performance improvement and quality initiatives. Analyze performance data and identify opportunities for improvement. Develop and assist with implementation of action plans. Communicate regulatory, performance improvement, and operational information to LTC leadership, staff, and committees. Develop and maintain databases and reports supporting clinical and administrative decision-making. Maintain LTC compliance, administrative, and clinical manuals. Coordinate committee schedules, agendas, and follow-up activities. Support projects involving multiple departments and stakeholders. Promote safety, dignity, respect, teamwork, and resident-centered care. Perform other duties as assigned by the Vice President of Long-Term Care. Qualifications

RN EXPERIENCE

STRONGLY PREFERRED

We are specifically seeking candidates with a Registered Nurse (RN) background. Current New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license strongly preferred. Long-term care nursing or nursing leadership experience strongly preferred. RN candidates interested in transitioning into or advancing within LTC administration are encouraged to apply. LNHA Licensure Current New York State Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) preferred. Candidates who are actively working toward LNHA licensure are encouraged to apply. Must become fully licensed within two years of hire or six months from license eligibility, whichever is shorter. Education

Required:

Bachelor's degree in a related field.

Preferred:

Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN), Healthcare Administration, Health Services Administration, or a related healthcare field. Experience

Required:

Experience with statistics, data collection, analysis, and presentation of data. Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a complex healthcare environment. Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work effectively under pressure.

Preferred:

Three years of Long-Term Care experience. Current or previous experience with performance improvement processes. Nursing leadership experience. Healthcare regulatory compliance experience. Skills & Competencies Strong leadership and interpersonal skills. Excellent written and verbal communication. Strong analytical and organizational skills. Ability to facilitate projects and work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams. Knowledge of New York State Department of Health regulations. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Computer literacy, including Microsoft Word and Excel. Microsoft PowerPoint experience preferred.
