Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Executive Director to lead our Assisted Living community with energy, dedication, and a clear vision for excellence in senior care. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all operational aspects of the facility, ensuring that residents receive outstanding care in a safe, welcoming environment. Your leadership will inspire staff, foster a culture of continuous improvement, and uphold the highest standards of assisted living and memory care services. Responsibilities Provide strategic leadership and oversee daily operations to ensure the delivery of exceptional assisted living and memory care services. Develop, implement, and monitor care plans tailored to residents' individual needs, including Alzheimer's and dementia care. Supervise and support staff members across all departments, including nursing, social work, caregiving, and administrative teams. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to assisted living, nursing home standards, and long-term care regulations. Manage budgets effectively, including financial planning, resource allocation, and cost control to maintain operational sustainability. Oversee medication administration processes to guarantee safety and adherence to healthcare protocols. Foster strong relationships with residents' families and guardians by maintaining open communication about care plans and resident well-being. Lead initiatives to improve quality of care through staff training, process improvements, and innovative programming focused on resident engagement. Coordinate with healthcare professionals for specialized services such as Alzheimer's care, dementia support, and home & community-based services. Promote a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, leadership development, and staff retention. Oversee safety protocols and emergency procedures to ensure a secure environment for residents and staff alike. Experience Proven management experience within assisted living facilities or nursing homes with demonstrated leadership in senior or long-term care settings. Extensive background working with people with developmental disabilities and providing specialized memory care services like Alzheimer's or dementia care. Strong knowledge of assisted living operations management including budgeting, compliance standards, medication administration, and resident safety protocols. Hands-on experience supervising multidisciplinary teams in group home or retirement home environments. Familiarity with home & community care models as well as residential group settings for seniors or individuals with special needs. Demonstrated ability to develop comprehensive care plans tailored to diverse resident needs while maintaining regulatory compliance. Excellent communication skills for engaging residents' families, staff development, and community outreach efforts. Prior experience in social work or related fields is advantageous for understanding holistic resident needs alongside clinical responsibilities. Pay:
$85,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
