Job Summary We are seeking a highly qualified and dedicated Licensed Nursing Home Administrator to oversee the operations of our long-term care facility. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in nursing home management, demonstrating strong leadership, regulatory knowledge, and a commitment to providing exceptional resident care. As the Licensed Nursing Home Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, managing staff, and fostering a safe, respectful environment for residents and staff alike. Responsibilities Lead and manage all aspects of the nursing home facility, including operations, staffing, and resident services. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local long-term care regulations and health policies. Develop and oversee care plans tailored to residents' individual needs, including Alzheimer's, dementia, memory care, and assisted living services. Supervise care facility teams, including nursing staff, administrative personnel, and support staff; provide leadership and mentorship. Manage healthcare financials, including budgeting, financial management, and resource allocation to maintain operational efficiency. Oversee medication administration processes in accordance with safety standards and regulatory requirements. Promote resident's rights by fostering a respectful environment that emphasizes dignity and independence. Utilize Microsoft Office tools for documentation, reporting, and communication purposes. Coordinate with disability services providers and community resources to enhance resident support services. Maintain comprehensive knowledge of long-term care regulations and ensure ongoing compliance through audits and staff training. Experience Proven management experience within nursing homes or senior living facilities with a focus on operations management. Extensive nursing home administration experience with a strong understanding of long-term care regulations. Demonstrated leadership in supervising multidisciplinary teams within healthcare or residential care settings. Familiarity with Alzheimer's care, dementia care, memory care programs, and resident-centered approaches. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or those requiring specialized disability services. Proficiency in healthcare financial management including budgeting, financial acumen, and resource planning. Knowledge of medication administration protocols and safety standards in healthcare environments. Background in home & community care services or residential care homes is advantageous. Strong organizational skills coupled with excellent communication abilities to effectively manage staff and interact with residents' families.
