The community is located in the Houston area; conveniently located to Sugar Land and surrounding areas. Responsibilities The Health and Wellness Director manages the day-to-day healthcare operations of our senior assisted living communities. You'll manage a team of trained employees to care for our residents and ensure that our standards of care are met at all times. Our residents and their families enjoy the peace and assurance of knowing their family members are being taken care of by an experienced and compassionate health care team that you will lead. Qualifications Requirements to be a Health & Wellness Director include an active nursing license in the State of Texas. Are responsible for the direct supervision of community-based licensed nursing and healthcare staff in the management of resident well-being and care. Nursing Directors assess health, functional and psychosocial status of residents and proactively manage care and services while evaluating the opportunity for residents to remain in their environment. The Health & Wellness Director of Nursing also assigns work, appraises performance while resolving any health care problems that may arise. Must possess an active nursing license (LVN or RN) and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
