Overview We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Group Home Manager to lead and oversee the daily operations of a residential care facility dedicated to providing exceptional support for individuals with diverse needs. Duties Oversee the day-to-day operations of the group home, ensuring smooth functioning and adherence to all relevant long-term care regulations and policies Supervise, train, and support care staff to deliver person-centered services that meet residents' individual needs Develop, implement, and regularly review personalized care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals, residents, and their families Ensure medication administration is performed accurately and in compliance with healthcare standards Maintain comprehensive documentation including incident reports, care records, and regulatory compliance logs Monitor facility safety protocols, conduct regular inspections, and respond promptly to emergencies or resident concerns Manage administrative tasks such as budgeting, financial management, staffing schedules, and resource allocation using tools like Microsoft Office Coordinate transportation, appointments, activities, and other resident needs Ensures the home is clean, organized, safe, and properly maintained Ensure adequate staff coverage for scheduled shifts Monitor household supplies, groceries, and other necessary items Communicate professionally with residents, families, staff, healthcare providers, case managers, and other members of the care team Experience Proven management experience within assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or residential care homes with a focus on senior or disability services Extensive knowledge of long-term care regulations, health policy compliance, and resident's rights legislation Demonstrated leadership in supervising multidisciplinary teams within healthcare or community care settings Strong background in nursing home administration or healthcare financial management with experience in budgeting and operational oversight Familiarity with dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care strategies, and managing residents with complex needs such as developmental disabilities or chronic conditions Experience working with electronic health records (EHR) systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for documentation and reporting purposes Knowledge of medication administration protocols and safety standards in healthcare environments This role is ideal for a proactive leader passionate about elevating resident care through effective management practices.
