This is a key leadership role responsible for creating a safe, structured, and engaging environment, while ensuring excellence in both clinical care and resident experience. Position Summary The Memory Care Director (Wellness Director - MC) oversees all clinical, operational, and programming aspects of the Memory Care neighborhood. This includes team leadership, regulatory compliance, resident care planning, and family engagement. Key Responsibilities Lead all Memory Care operations, including clinical care and life engagement programming Ensure compliance with state Memory Care regulations and survey readiness Oversee individualized, person-centered care planning for residents with dementia Train, coach, and develop staff in dementia care best practices and behavior management Manage staffing, scheduling, hiring, and retention of care team members Partner closely with families, providing communication, education, and support Maintain a structured, safe, and therapeutic environment Ensure accurate and compliant documentation and assessments Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery Monitor quality outcomes and drive continuous improvement Qualifications Licensed Nurse (LVN/LPN or RN preferred based on state requirements) Required experience in Memory Care or dementia care leadership Strong knowledge of Alzheimer's disease and related dementias Experience with behavioral interventions and de-escalation techniques Understanding of Memory Care regulations and survey process Proven leadership in staffing, training, and team development Excellent communication skills with families and staff Compensation & Benefits Base salary up to $80,000 Performance-based bonus (tied to census growth, quality outcomes, and team stability) Full benefits package: 401(k) Health, Dental, Vision Insurance HSA/FSA Life Insurance Paid Time Off Tuition Reimbursement Employee Assistance Program Employee Discounts Why The Blake?
