Job Description

Our organization is looking for a Wellness Director to lead our Assited Living facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing nursing care for residents in an Assisted Living setting. The best candidate will also be responsible for establishing standards and practices relating to basic nursing, restorative, and personal care services, and ensuring that all staff members are providing quality care to our residents. The ideal candidate will have experience in geriatrics and a passion for helping others.
Responsibilities:
Adhere to the scope of practice for their nursing licensure per state regulatory guidelines. Maintains a close working relationship with community leadership to foster resident family support and resident welfare. Works to coordinate, support, and supervise home health care and hospice services for our residents. Ensures all resident documentations are complete and current while maintaining the standards set by the state and company. Conducts inventory of all meical/nursing supplies and places monthly order for needed medial supplies. Maintains and monitors MARs and EMARs ensures accuracy. Must be able available to staff 24 hours to answer questions regarding residents. Participates in all new resident admissions. Develop and monitor policies and procedures for care services. Supervise and evaluate staff performance in the care setting. Develop and maintain relationships with other health care providers to ensure quality of care. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards related to long-term care services.
