We are seeking a dedicated, part-time Client Administrator for our Homecare office to serve as the vital backbone of our operations and the primary point of contact for our valued clients. This position is temporary-to-hire and begins with a 2-week trial period to ensure a mutually great fit. In this role, you will be the face and voice of our organization, ensuring that every client receives seamless support. You will play a critical role in managing care continuity by handling the end-to-end insurance authorization process, coordinating schedules, and maintaining compliant clinical documentation. Core Responsibilities Client Advocacy & Communication:
Serve as the first point of contact for all client-related inquiries, issues, and complaints, resolving problems with empathy and professionalism.
Insurance & Authorization Management:
Submit initial authorizations, follow up with insurance companies to check status, and draft and submit appeals to prevent disruptions in client care.
Intake & Onboarding Coordination:
Conduct upfront insurance verifications, keep track of pending client assessments, and efficiently schedule nurse assessments.
Scheduling Coordination:
Oversee and manage the master client schedule to maximize efficiency and ensure all service needs are met.
Compliance & Quality Assurance:
Routinely audit client charts to ensure complete accuracy, regulatory compliance, and strict adherence to internal standards.
Job Requirements Healthcare Experience:
Prior experience in a medical office, clinic, or healthcare setting is required (Medical Assistant background is highly preferred).
Medical Literacy:
Basic knowledge of medical terminology
Office & Technical Skills:
Must be proficient in computer usage, typing, managing email communications, scanning documents, and operating electronic fax systems.
Professionalism:
Must maintain an exceptionally professional tone in all verbal and written communication with clients, families, and insurance providers.
Pay:
From $15.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 25.0 per week
