Full Job Description Job Purpose:

The Certified Nursing Assistant/Adult Development Program Instructor at

LAS TRAMPAS SCHOOL INC

is responsible for providing essential nursing care and support to adults with developmental disabilities. This role involves both direct patient care and educational instruction to enhance the quality of life and promote independence for program participants.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver personalized nursing care and assistance to adults with developmental disabilities, ensuring their health and well-being. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans for program participants. Facilitate adult development programs, focusing on skill-building and personal growth to support participants' independence. Monitor and document participants' progress, health status, and any changes in condition, communicating effectively with the healthcare team. Provide instruction and guidance to participants in daily living activities, fostering a supportive and empowering environment. Maintain a safe and clean environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations and protocols. Participate in ongoing training and development to stay current with best practices in nursing care and adult education. Required Education:

High school diploma or equivalent is required. Certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) is mandatory.

Required Experience:

Minimum of 1 year of experience working as a Certified Nursing Assistant. Experience in adult education or development programs is highly preferred. Previous experience in a school or educational setting is advantageous.

Required Skills and Abilities:

Strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional techniques. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with students and staff. Ability to develop and implement educational programs tailored to adult learners. Proficiency in maintaining detailed and accurate records.
