Yes - Travel is an essential function of this position. Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Nursing Instructor to join our academic team in Ontario, CA. This position is ideal for an accomplished nursing professional who is passionate about education and preparing the next generation of nurses. Key Responsibilities Prepare and deliver engaging lesson plans for assigned nursing courses. Develop and maintain course syllabi in accordance with curriculum requirements. Provide instruction to nursing students in classroom and clinical learning environments. Facilitate student learning and support achievement of course and program outcomes. Evaluate student performance and provide appropriate feedback. Document grades and student interactions accurately and within required timelines. Maintain compliance with institutional policies and programmatic accreditation requirements. Supervise and guide students during classroom activities, field trips, and school-related functions. Utilize appropriate instructional resources and assessment techniques to address diverse student learning needs. Maintain current knowledge and skills within the assigned nursing specialty. Collaborate with academic leadership and other faculty members to support student success. Perform other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree. Active California Registered Nurse (RN) License . Current BLS Certification . Recent direct patient care experience within the past five years in the applicable nursing area, or qualifying academic clinical teaching experience demonstrating clinical competency. At least one year of experience teaching courses related to registered nursing , or completion of a post-baccalaureate course that includes preparation/practice in teaching registered nursing. Experience teaching in a nursing program such as LVN/LPN, BSN, or MSN is preferred. University or college-level nursing teaching experience is highly preferred.
