ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Establish training schedules. Provide relevant up to date subjects that are included in the training schedule. Monitor training to ensure curriculum is followed. Enroll and oversee enrollee's complete training in accordance with current regulations. Submit the training program and/or revisions to the program to the state for approval as necessary. Demonstrate proper technique of nursing assistant's duties and functions. Monitor activities of trainees to provide compliance with patient rights, safety procedures, dress codes, and other procedural guidelines as appropriate. Present clear and concise expectations. Ensure student compliance with syllabus, attendance policy, and conduct. Responsible for Certified Medication Aide training classes as needed. Promotes the image and reputation of the System by exhibiting servant leadership and providing direct and open lines of communication. Contributes to the work of committees, workgroups, project management, and other collaborative efforts of the System. Performs other duties as necessary to ensure the success of the System.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Proficient in using a computer, especially Microsoft Office, Excel and Power Point. Excellent organizational and prioritizing skills required Effective and professional verbal, and written communication skills to include speaking to large groups. Able to work flexible hours that may include some weekends or evening shifts Communicates well with other associates, patients, family members, and visitors providing warm and friendly greeting and an approachable attitude. Responds to expressed concerns while displaying a helpful, caring demeanor, answers questions when appropriate in a professional manner.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Active Registered Nursing license in good standing.
