Posting Detail Information Salary Information $1,123 per Equivalent Credit Hour (ECH). Job Summary Mental Health Clinical Adjunct Nursing Instructor to teach various nursing course for Fall Semester 2026. Review of applications will begin immediately. Please include any applicable nursing certifications with your application. Essential Functions Teaches assigned courses in accordance with course competencies and syllabi. Develops and/or utilizes a variety of instructional strategies, techniques and delivery methods designed to meet the individual learning styles of students. Fosters a safe and civil learning environment. Informs students about course requirements, evaluation procedures, and attendance policies. Monitors, evaluates, and documents student attendance, progress and competency attainment. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Nursing. 3 years clinical work experience related to teaching assignment. BCLS certification. Iowa RN license or ability to obtain prior to start of employment. Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain a professional working relationship with a wide variety of individuals coming from varied backgrounds. Applicants must be able and willing to comply with requirements set forth by DMACC's clinical partners. This includes, but is not limited to, fulfilling all vaccination requirements, adhering to safety protocols, and completing necessary health screenings. Compliance with these requirements is essential for fulfilling contractual obligations with clinical sites. Failure to meet these qualifications and requirements may result in disqualification from the hiring process. Desired Qualifications Master's degree in Nursing (or current enrollment in a graduate Nursing program). Teaching experience. Work Schedule Days and times to be determined.
