Position Summary Adjunct (part-time) faculty needed to teach in the following nursing clinical areas: medical-surgical pediatrics obstetrics psychiatric mental-health critical care The University of St. Francis is a welcoming community of learners committed to enhancing diversity and equity. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Teach nursing clinical courses in your specialty area to BSN students. Generally 12 hour clinicals once per week at various local and regional hospitals. Minimum Requirements Master's Degree in Nursing Current RN license Willingness to support the Catholic and Franciscan values of the university Preferred Requirements Two years' nursing work experience Teaching experience in higher education Hours/Shift/Work Schedule Based on availability. Depending on the site and unit, clinical may be on a Monday through Sunday during day or evening hours. Physical Requirements of Position Work is performed at clinical sites with some exposure to health or safety hazards. Requires sitting, walking, bending, stooping, finger dexterity, repetitive motions, talking, hearing, and visual acuity.
