Job Description

Passaic County Community College is currently seeking nursing instructors to teach theory and/or clinical Nursing courses, Day, or Evenings or Weekends. Instructors are also needed to assist in the Nursing Skills Laboratory and Simulation Center at the Passaic College campus. Clinicals are held in a variety of settings throughout the community. Must maintain regular, ongoing communication with Lead Faculty/Course Coordinator regarding students' progress in the clinical/lab settings. Classes will be taught at both the Passaic and Sussex campuses. The Nursing Education Program is located on the Passaic campus in Passaic, New Jersey. Nursing Instructors are needed in the following areas:
Medical/Surgical Critical Care/ICU Geriatrics/Older Adult Pharmacological Nursing Mental Health/Psychiatric Pediatrics Obstetrics/Maternity Qualifications:
Required Master's Degree with a major in Nursing RN New Jersey License (active and unencumbered) Experience teaching relevant/recent content in the classroom or clinical setting (preferred, but not required) Minimum of 3 years' of clinical experience in nursing Use of Blackboard (helpful, but not required) The completion of a background check will be required for the selected candidate.
Compensation:
Compensation is determined by a variety of criteria, including but not limited to, previous relevant experience, education level, and certifications. The hourly pay range for this position is $55.

Earn 1 hour of sick leave for every 30 hours worked with a maximum of 40 hours of leave per benefit year. (Eligible to use after successful completion of probationary period.)
