COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
This is a full-time, 10-month position. Commensurate with experience in keeping with the current negotiated agreement. DUTIES:
Nursing Instructor position: full-time/daytime faculty position in the Practical Nursing Program. Position will be responsible for successfully performing the professional duties of didactic, simulation lab and clinical instruction. Position will be responsible for the following: student advisement and discipline, accreditation including course and program revision, program development, assessment development and monitoring, and perform other professional duties as directed and/or approved by the Health Careers Coordinator or Director of Adult & Continuing Education. Job Qualifications
- Master of Science in Nursing is required for full-time instructor positions. Bachelor of Science holders will be considered for clinical roles only
- Unencumbered New York State license as a Registered Professional Nurse
- Minimum experience two years as an RN with medical-surgical experience
- Current CPR/BLS card and/or instructor card
Pre-Employment Assessment and NYSED Requirements:
- Approved fingerprints prior to hire date, DASA Training and SAVE Workshop, Child Abuse Identification Workshop, and acquisition of certification as per hire.
