About Holy Family University Holy Family University is a sponsored ministry of the Sisters of the Holy Family of Nazareth founded in 1954. Position Summary The School of Nursing and Health Sciences seeks applications from potential adjunct didactic, clinical, and lab instructors for daytime and evening classes and clinical rotations, including weekends, for the following subject areas: Pediatrics Maternity/OB Foundations of Nursing Med Surg I, II, and III Leadership Community Nursing Pharmacology Gerontology All employees must understand the mission of Catholic higher education and be committed to the core values, mission, goals and objectives of Holy Family University. Responsibilities A successful adjunct instructor will have any or all of the following responsibilities, dependent upon the contracted assignments in any given semester: Instructing students in a classroom setting. Instructing clinical skills and assessing student performance in the assigned discipline. Using appropriate technology (including Canvas). Responding to email correspondence from coordinators and students in a timely manner. Providing grades and feedback to students in a timely manner. Overseeing up to 12 students per lab group and completing all required assessment paperwork. Overseeing up to 10 students per clinical group and completing all required clinical paperwork. Qualifications A successful applicant must be a registered nurse holding an active Pennsylvania license, and an earned academic degree in nursing from an accredited program. Completed Master's or Doctoral degree preferred; applicants must at least hold a bachelor's in nursing and be actively enrolled in a graduate program. Lab instructors must have a working knowledge of dimensional analysis. Qualified candidates are invited to apply for open positions by submitting a current CV and a cover letter.
