Adjunct Nursing Faculty Position Reports to :
Nursing Program Director Position Summary:
Nursing adjunct faculty primarily for the online
RN-BSN, MSN, or DNP Program Key Responsibilities :
Teaching online courses as assigned - up to 5 courses per academic year Grading student assignments and providing student feedback in a timely manner At minimum, posting weekly updates in the Learning Management System course shell Establishing and maintaining effective, timely, clear, professional communication with students, faculty, and staff Working with full-time faculty and course liaisons as needed Committed to continuous quality improvement
Qualifications:
Current unencumbered Pennsylvania professional nursing license, or eligibility for licensure in Pennsylvania Two degrees in nursing. Doctoral degree required to teach as MSN and DNP level; MSN degree required to teach at RN-BSN level Online nursing teaching experience preferred Chatham University strives to promote a campus environment that understands and embraces multiculturalism while increasing individuals' intercultural competence.
