Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Home Health Aide (HHA), Vocational Nursing (VN), and Continuing Education Units (CEU) Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated, passionate, and tech-savvy Nursing Instructor to educate and inspire the next generation of healthcare professionals across our CNA, HHA, VN, and CEU programs. The ideal candidate is an active CA LVN or RN comfortable leading a classroom, utilizing modern educational technology, and guiding students through both lecture (theory) and hands-on clinical training.

Key Responsibilities Classroom & Lecture Instruction:

Lead engaging classroom lectures and lead theory instruction for students enrolled in CNA, HHA, VN, and CEU courses.

Clinical Supervision:

Oversee and evaluate students during hands-on clinical rotations at partner healthcare facilities, ensuring safe and competent patient care practices.

Curriculum Delivery:

Deliver course materials in alignment with state regulations, institutional standards, and program objectives.

Technology Integration:

Use learning management systems (LMS), digital tools, and educational technology to manage grades, track attendance, and enhance student engagement.

Student Mentorship:

Provide guidance, constructive feedback, and support to foster student confidence, professionalism, and retention.

Qualifications & Requirements Licensure:

Active, unencumbered license as a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Registered Nurse (RN) .

Licensure Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of active licensure as an LVN or RN.

Clinical Experience:

Minimum of 1 year of direct patient care experience.

Tech Proficiency:

Comfortable with modern technology (e.g., computers, educational software, online portals, projector systems, and learning management tools).

Classroom Comfort:

Proven ability and confidence leading a classroom environment; prior teaching or precepting experience is a plus. Teaching Credential / DSD (Preferred): Director of Staff Development (DSD) certificate or an Adult Education Teaching Credential is preferred . (If you do not currently hold this, we will pay for and assist you in obtaining it during onboarding!) Dual Instructional Capability (Preferred): Strong preference for candidates capable of teaching both classroom lecture and clinical settings. Skills & Competencies Strong leadership, public speaking, and presentation skills. Excellent verbal and written communication. Patience, adaptability, and a genuine passion for teaching entry-level and advancing nursing students. Solid organizational and time-management skills.
