Senior Research Staff & Post-doctoral Fellow Applications are invited for appointment as Research Assistant Professor (holding the title of Project Manager) in the School of Nursing (Ref.: 537247), to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability. Applicants should possess a Ph. D. degree in Public Health, Nursing, Health Science, Social Sciences, or a related discipline. They should have an excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese (including fluency in Cantonese) and demonstrate strong skills in statistical analysis, data management, and project coordination. Applicants should also exhibit the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, as well as effectively engage with external stakeholders, including academics, social service groups, and policymakers. A strong track record of high-quality publications is essential, and prior experience in intervention studies is highly desirable. The appointee will work for the research project " Health Programme for Adult Persons with Disabilities " under the supervision of Professor Kelvin Wang. He/She will coordinate research design; perform advanced level of data analysis (quantitative and qualitative); oversee data collection and management; liaise with community parties and institutions; facilitate the collection of big data; work closely with academic and research support staff in writing scientific publications, reports and presentations relevant to the project; supervise research staff members; and perform other duties as assigned. A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. The appointment will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 15% of basis salary.
