Senior Research Staff & Post-doctoral Fellow Applications are invited for appointment as Research Assistant Professor in the School of Nursing (Ref.: 537246), to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability. Applicants should possess a Ph. D. degree in Public Health, Nursing, Health Science, Social Sciences, or a related discipline. They should demonstrate evidence of high-quality research as indicated by publication record; excellent project management skills; the ability to work independently and under pressure; a strong sense of responsibility and self-motivation; and good coordination, problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills. The appointee will work for the research project on geriatric and gerontology under the supervision of Professor Doris Yu. He/She will coordinate research design; perform advanced level of data analysis (quantitative and qualitative); oversee data collection and management; liaise with community parties and institutions; facilitate the collection of big data; work closely with academic and research support staff in writing scientific publications, reports and presentations relevant to the project; supervise research staff members; and perform other duties as assigned. A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. The appointment will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 15% of basis salary.
