Full-time Med-Surg RN Charge Nurse in Ozark, AL. Lead nursing staff on the medical-surgical unit, ensuring high-quality patient care and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate nursing staff on the medical-surgical unit during assigned shifts Ensure delivery of high-quality, evidence-based patient care Assist in admissions, discharges, and direct patient care as needed Act as a clinical resource and mentor to nursing staff Monitor staffing levels, manage scheduling needs, and ensure smooth operations Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with all hospital policies and procedures Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to support patient outcomes

Qualifications:

Active RN license in the state of Alabama (or compact license) Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Medical-Surgical unit BLS certification required Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills

Preferred Skills:

Previous leadership or charge nurse experience strongly preferred ACLS certification preferred or willing to obtain within 6 months
