Overview We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Registered Nurse Supervisor to lead and supervise nursing care within our 138 bed SNF/LTC facility on evening shift. This vital role involves overseeing clinical operations, supervising nursing staff, and ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient care. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily nursing activities for assigned shift, ensuring adherence to clinical protocols and safety standards. Lead, mentor, and evaluate nursing staff, fostering professional development and team cohesion. Oversee and conduct patient assessments, vital signs monitoring, and comprehensive medical documentation using EMR (Electronic Medical Record) systems such as PCC. Manage or complete medication administration, IV infusion procedures, catheterization, tube feeding, and wound care. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and infection control protocols to protect patient privacy and safety. Maintain accurate medical records and ensure documentation meets standards for quality assurance and regulatory compliance. Experience Proven supervisory or nurse management experience in SNF/LTC preferred. Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems for documentation and patient data management. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, pharmacology related to medication administration and pain management. Experience working with diverse populations including individuals with developmental disabilities, skilled nursing or dementia care needs. Ability to perform venipuncture, phlebotomy, specimen collection, IV start and administration. Knowledge of infection control practices including aseptic technique.
