The Director of Clinical Quality (DCQI) leads clinical quality improvement initiatives that advance CLCHC's mission, Quality Improvement/Quality Assurance Plan, and Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) designation. This role fosters a culture of continuous quality improvement, innovation, and practice transformation to improve clinical outcomes and enhance the patient and staff experience. The DCQI leverages health information technology and data to support care delivery, ensures regulatory compliance and performance in value-based incentive programs, communicates quality improvement progress to leadership, and promotes an inclusive, equitable, and welcoming workplace.. Responsibilities Provide strategic leadership for Clinical Quality and Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI), promoting patient-centered, outcomes-driven care and a culture of accountability. Lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of quality improvement initiatives, including HEDIS, UDS, PCMH, patient safety, patient satisfaction, and value-based care programs. Ensure compliance with federal, state, accreditation, and health plan requirements by developing policies, monitoring quality metrics, and leading clinical audits and chart reviews. Partner with executive leadership, providers, Health Data Analytics, EHR, and IT teams to leverage data, technology, and evidence-based practices to improve clinical performance and patient outcomes. Guide providers and multidisciplinary teams in quality improvement methodologies (e.g., PDSA, DMAIC), workflow optimization, and regulatory reporting. Lead strategic planning for PCMH recognition, grant-related quality initiatives, and performance improvement efforts while communicating progress to leadership. Foster collaboration, continuous learning, and professional development across clinical teams, while building relationships with regulatory agencies, health plans, and external partners. Oversee quality-related operational functions, including patient grievance resolution, documentation compliance, laboratory medication management, and coordination with pharmaceutical representatives. Qualifications Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) ( Required ) Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited program. ( Preferred ) Nurse Practitioner (NP) in the state of practice. ( Preferred ) Certification as a Nurse Practitioner in the relevant specialty area (e.g., Family Practice, Adult-Gerontology, Pediatrics). ( Preferred ) Minimum of 3-5 years of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner, with demonstrated leadership abilities. ( Preferred ) Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with healthcare team members, patients, and families. Knowledge of healthcare regulations, standards of practice, and quality improvement methodologies. Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and other healthcare technology platforms. Commitment to upholding ethical standards, patient confidentiality, and professional integrity.

Pay:

$160,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year
