Patient Care/Education:

Dispense medications Use independent clinical judgment to assess patient substance use/abuse/dependency, along with screening of substance withdrawal symptoms, safety, and other health-related concerns Liaison with hospitals and jails regarding patients Provide patient education on substance abuse and the medical consequences, including the interaction of clinic prescribed medications and other substances Explain program rules and regulations to patients during initial dose and as needed Provide Medical Director, Physician, NP, PA, Counselors, and other staff with pertinent information concerning patients' behavior, financial status, and attendance at the clinic. Initiate appropriate documentation as indicated Deliver medications to facilities within

Alameda County Management Duties:

Supervise staff of 12+ nurses and Medical Assistant, ensuring accountability and high performance among your team members Delegate daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly duties and follow up with completed work Manage monthly nursing staff schedules and verify staff time records Develop and update nursing clinic policies, procedures, and forms to ensure compliance with established standards Prepare training curriculum according to requirements. Track staff completion.
