Job Description

Position Summary:
This individual performs the primary functions of a professional nurse manager in the interpretation, direction and evaluation of nursing practice and the coordination of nursing services through the use of clinical, management and leadership skills. Is responsible for planning, directing and controlling the nursing unit staff so that high quality patient care will be delivered. This individual is responsible for meeting Joint Commission Standards and Title 22 requirements. This individual, as a member of Nursing Administration, is the primary liaison with his/her staff and is responsible for facilitating the flow and accuracy of information and issues between them. May perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
Current and valid license as a Registered Nurse issued by the State of California. Bachelors Degree in Nursing or Health Science related field. BLS. Three years clinical professional nursing experience, including one year of charge nurse experience, or one year CN III or IV.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's Degree. Certification in specialty area respective to service. Previous clinical professional nursing experience in a specialty area.
Salary range:
$184,263 - $211,902 annually. Salary will be commensurate with experience. As part of our ongoing effort to remain an employer of choice, eligible employees who work qualifying weekend shifts receive a competitive weekend rate.
