A Charge Nurse supervises and supports a nursing staff, while also treating a limited number of patients. Evaluates other nurses and acts as an educational resource for nurses. Provides guidance on administering care to new patients or those with special needs and answers questions regarding protocol. Directs admission, discharge and general flow of patients.

Job Description
Directs and supervises functions and activities in the unit; implements and interprets policies, procedures, standards, and regulations to personnel, patients, medical staff, and the public.
R equirements:
Graduate nurse of an accredited school of nursing - BSN or ASN required Registered Nurse, licensed in the state.CA RN LICENSE
& BLS, ACLS, PALS, and ABLS NIHSS-Stroke Certification Minimum 1-year experience in acute care B enefits : Medical, dental, and vision coverage is provided for all full time and part-time employees- Medical is 100% employer-paid including dependents
