Our ambulatory surgery center specializes in pain management, orthopedic, and spine procedures, with a strong focus on patient safety, teamwork, clinical excellence, and an exceptional surgical experience. The Full-Time Lead Nurse RN is a hands-on clinical nursing position responsible for supporting the coordination and daily clinical operations of the surgery center. This position supports the coordination of patient care throughout the perioperative continuum and helps promote safe, efficient patient flow and consistent adherence to facility standards. The Lead Nurse reports directly to the Center Administrator and works closely with the Administrator to assist in maintaining clinical operations in accordance with applicable Federal and State regulations, CMS requirements, AAAHC standards, and facility policies and procedures, and maintaining regulatory compliance, patient safety, quality improvement, infection prevention, and clinical readiness, while serving as a clinical resource for the nursing team. The Lead Nurse maintains competency to function in the Operating Room, Pre-Operative, and PACU and provides direct patient care as part of their regular responsibilities and based on the operational needs of the center.

Qualifications:

Current, active RN license required Current BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS preferred Minimum of two years of Operating Room circulating experience required Minimum of two years of Pre-Operative and PACU experience required Previous Charge Nurse, Lead Nurse, or supervisory experience strongly preferred Strong communication, problem-solving, organizational, and leadership skills required

$57.00 - $67.00 per hour
